Kilima Valley Tented Camp - Serengeti

Are you looking for an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania? Look no further than Kilima Valley Tented Camp.

Our accommodations offer an immersive experience in the Serengeti’s heart while highlighting the distinctive features of the surroundings. The unique features of Kilima Valley Tented Camp, including our design philosophy, setting, and amenities, will be thoroughly examined in this article.

Our Design Philosophy

At Kilima Valley Tented Camp, we think that being fully immersed in nature is the best way to experience the Serengeti. Each of our tent accommodations is created with the specific curiosities and surprises of the surrounding area in mind.

By reducing the distance between humans and the bushland, our camp-style architecture enables visitors to truly connect with their surroundings. The tent walls are thick enough to keep out wild animals but thin enough to let in the sounds of the night.

Amenities

Even though the Serengeti is our primary focus, we recognize how important comfort and convenience are to our guests. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, which is why we provide a variety of amenities.

Each tent has a cozy bed, a private veranda with breathtaking views of the area, and an attached bathroom. Along with daily housekeeping, laundry, and solar power, we also provide these services.

We provide our visitors with a variety of activities in addition to comfortable lodging. At Kilima Valley Tented Camp, there are activities for everyone, including hot air balloon safaris and game drives.

Sustainability

We at Kilima Valley Tented Camp are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact. We use solar energy to power our camp because of this, and we’re always looking for ways to lessen our carbon footprint.

We also think it’s important to support the neighborhood. Because of this, we collaborate closely with the Robanda village nearby and support programs like healthcare and education.

Rustic Splendor! After hiking Kilimanjaro, we stayed at this lodge for 2 nights during our safari. Although we had also stayed at some high-end resorts, this was by far my favorite and most memorable place. The views were spectacular with giraffes meandering by as I enjoyed a glass of wine. The food was simply outstanding and the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. This is a very rustic tented lodge out in the bush, but I have never felt so close to nature and wildlife as I did here. I highly recommend Kilima Valley Tented Lodge to anyone looking to get off the beaten path, unplug, and get closer to nature.

Great base camp for a 3-day Serengeti Safari! My safari company, Climbkili, arranged three nights here for my private 3-day Serengeti Safari! At first I was disappointed because I had been staying in fancy lodges at the other parks, but the personal touch here by staff was wonderful! It’s rustic, not going to lie, but my tent overlooked the Serengeti and I got to see the sun come up every morning over the plains! It had electricity and water when I needed it. The food was wonderful even when I didn’t feel like eating because of a GI issue I arrived with. They were so accommodating and made bland food and drinks for me until I felt better. They even packed a bland lunch box the day I wasn’t feeling well. I had a short day that day and they let me rest and get better and made sure I stayed hydrated. The tent was on a platform, I never saw insects in my tent, nothing fancy, but I had a toilet and small RV style shower with hot water. A fan would’ve been great, especially when I wasn’t feeling well. It’s humid and there was no air flow through the tent. Like I said, rustic! It was neat to hear animals at night, but be safe in the tent! We were all provided a CB in case we need to contact the main lodge. WiFi was okay for the middle of nowhere, but only in the main tent area. I paid my tip and drinks together and that seemed to confuse them, but I tipped what my travel company suggested. The location is right in the middle of the central Serengeti action!

Awesome! You are actually in the bush, can't get much better than that. Excellent Service by William and the staff. The tent was great, clean, hot water and beautiful sunrise from tent. The food was really good. Would recommend this to anyone not wanting the typical lodge. Absolutely Magical.

Best Place to be in the bush I spent two nights here but I wish to just move in here and establish my home! haha.. that how amazing I felt being in the middle of the Serengeti plains. The view of the Serengeti from my room was heaven, you could see view and if you eat a lot of carrots you would be lucky to spot giraffes from your tent. This place is just magical and I would highly recommend it if you are travelling solo, group even family.
